There are some really good pictures among them, even though I'm . Except Neville. And Bellatrix and Lucius were indeed too Morticia Adams and Yoker like, so they don't count for me, either. way too influenced by the movies to agree with some of these pictures. Molly for example. Or Peter. Snape broke my heart in his ugliness because I'm a huge Alan Rickman fan. But yeah, I konw he's supposed to look like that (he looks like the food critic from Ratatoullie). Apart from that, I actually don't remember so many of the characters in the books being described as handsome; I got the feeling most of them are described in a rather ugly/plain way, the bad ones especially (but it's been twenty years since I read the books; I'm reading them again right now).

As far as Vernon and Petunia looking younger than you expected, keep in mind that in the books Lily was only 21 when she died. James was about the same. Serius and Lupin, Snape and Pettegrew would have been about 31 when the series starts. So if you figure most siblings are about 2-3 years age difference then Petunia would probably be 33 at the beginning of the books (past the first chapter that is). Her husband would probably be about the same age or within a coupe years. We forget that they aged up the characters significantly with the actors that played them in the movies. Alan Rickman was great but I think he was almost 70. Also I really liked the Draco, Serius and Bill ones. Serius and Bill didnt look like a Pixar character but they looked good. Draco did look like a Pixar villain. It was great. I would love to see you collaborate with Jazza to have him do a series where you could give input on it and have him do the drawings. It’s just such a fun idea.

Voldamort had a really vampiric look. Mad-eye Moody looked very wise but not the kind of teacher you want to be on the bad side of. Draco looked more like a teacher. Magonagle looked more serious. First Patunia. Maybe for a Tim Burton movie but definitely not Pixar worthy. We want kids to actually watch the movie, not run from the theatres, crying and wetting their pants 😄

I think the reason why the Ministry battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort was condensed and left out a few factors is because, if they kept to the way the battle was supposed to happen, adding statues into the mix to interfere with the battle in a very small set scene would have made the movie too expensive for production and so they had to make a few tweaks because the CGI of the moving status would've left the actors very little room for imaginative acting, now compare that to the Chess challenge scene in "Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone", it was very simple and it was a large set too, no complexities and also of course they had to use close up shots in cut-scene montage to make it not seem expensive for production, and besides the battle at the ministry of magic went on for quite a bit longer than the Wizard Chess challenge by comparison too. You have noticed how much they under utilized and underused the transfigured Hogwarts statues for the battle of Hogwarts for Year 7 part 2 right? Now do you see the pattern?

Well a good half of the book was still "Riddled" with romances that has been going on in Harry's sixth year anyway, and I guess the film makers wanted to explore a little further on that, and because the meetings with Dumbledore was more about discovering Voldemort's secret to his power that they wanted to cut to the chase to procuring the part about his horcruxes, besides we needed a Harry Potter film to represent Valentines Day. There is a running holiday related theme that the film makers incorporate into the creative conception within each story: Christmas- Years 1 and 4, Halloween: Years 2, 3, 7-1 and 7-2, Thanksgiving: Year 5, Valentines Day- Years 6 and 7-1. The books however is color coded to represent an estimated focus in association to a Hogwarts house part of Hogwarts history, but not the exact colors themselves that would be more associated with each house, but is made easier to judge by the color tones in the films, but still difficult to place: Year 1: Gryffindor, Year 2: Slytherin, Year 3: Gryffindor, Year 4: Hufflepuff, Year 5: G_R_S , Year 6: Slytherin, Year 7: Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

Well, Michael Gambon was used to playing oddball type characters, like: Baltus Van Tassel, so I think this might be Gambon's mistake and the film makers for Year 4 kind of rolled with it.

Cedric Diggory was 16 years old in Harry's third year, in Harry's 4th year the Age limit for the participating Triwizard champion has been bumped to 17 year old students only, so Cedric was supposed to be 17 years old, the year that Voldemort killed him in the Little Hangleton Graveyard.

The beard and 'stache on Dumbledore is sort of wrong in shape, because it looks a little too much like the style of Disney's depiction of Merlin, I think the Ai kind of got Dumbledore confused with either Merlin or Merle Ambrose(From Wizard 101 online game) that is why the beard came out too thin and silky and also why you got round glasses instead of half-moon spectacles and Dumbledore's beard is supposed to be full and long-ish. I wonder why people always draw Hagrid with a Mean or angry face instead of the depiction of Warm beetle black eyes.

The animation for the first 3 main Harry Potter videogames and the Quidditch World Cup game is actually not far off from the art styles of Pixar animation, so this could be quite a fun thing to watch on widescreen.

Neville didn't look good. Luna looks traumatised, why does she look traumatised? Lily looks like Hermiornie. Arthur Wealey looks like a red-haired beardless Legal Eagle. Take a little out of the cheeks and you'd have my vision of Molly.
